France came from behind to beat Belgium 4-1 in their latest UEFA Nations League Group A fixture, with Michael Olise once again proving why he is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking players in world football.

The victory marked France’s first win under new head coach Zinedine Zidane at the Stade de France and further underlined Olise’s growing influence on the international stage.

The Bayern Munich star delivered a decisive performance after coming off the bench, scoring twice and providing an assist for Rayan Cherki as France turned the game around in a stunning late surge.

Belgium took the lead in the 35th minute through Dodi Lukebakio. Despite dominating possession, France struggled to create clear-cut opportunities and were unable to find an equaliser for more than 40 minutes.

The introduction of Olise, Cherki and Désiré Doué changed the complexion of the game.

Doué eventually brought France level in the 77th minute, before Olise immediately began to make his presence felt.

Just four minutes later, the Bayern winger provided the assist for Cherki to put France ahead 2-1.

Olise then got his name on the scoresheet in the 88th minute, extending France’s advantage before completing his brace in stoppage time.

France had gone from trailing 1-0 to leading 4-1 in just 13 minutes, with Olise directly involved in three of their four goals during the remarkable comeback.

The 24-year-old’s performance further highlights the quality Bayern Munich possess in their attacking ranks, with Olise continuing to establish himself as a key player for both club and country.

The result also move moved France to the top of UEFA Nations League Group A with 10 points from four matches, following three wins and one draw.

Under Zidane, Les Bleus remain unbeaten and appear to be building significant momentum ahead of the next stage of the competition.
