Persija Jakarta has completed their two-week Training Camp (TC) in Thailand. Nevertheless, the squad’s performance is still considered far from perfect as they head into the new season.

Persija departed for Thailand on August 10. The first week was spent building player fitness in the city of Hua Hin.

During the second week, the squad shifted to Bangkok to sharpen their tactical maneuvers and build their main composite lineup ahead of the upcoming league season.

This second week also featured two friendly matches against Police Tero and Chiangrai United. Rizky Ridho and his teammates swept both matches with identical 2-1 victories.

The coaching staff expressed satisfaction with the team’s double victory in Thailand, though acknowledging key areas still need improvement.

“At this stage, player conditioning remains the top priority. Beyond that, refining our passing timing, basic 90-minute match stamina, and building compact lines across the pitch are essential before the league begins,” the team representative stated.

Persija still has one final friendly match scheduled against Brisbane Roar on August 29, which will double as the team’s official squad launch and jersey reveal event for the upcoming season.
