Persib Bandung Hint at Another Signing After Danijel Loncar Arrival
Persib Bandung’s latest signing, Danijel Loncar, is expected to join the team for their upcoming training camp in Bali, according to PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat commissioner Kuswara S. Taryono.
Loncar has been lined up to take part in Persib’s training camp, which will run for more than a week in Bali. However, the Croatian defender is unlikely to arrive at the same time as the rest of the squad.
“He will be joining us soon. However, we still need to check further regarding his arrival,” Kuswara told reporters.
With the training camp approaching, Persib will attempt to bring Loncar to Bali on time. The club hopes the defender can arrive as early as possible so he can take part in the full training programme.
“Hopefully, yes. Hopefully, he can join before the training camp, or at least be there when the camp starts. Whether he travels directly from Jakarta to Bali or takes another route, we hope he can join the team during the training camp,” Kuswara said.
Following the arrival of Loncar, Kuswara also revealed that Persib could still sign another player. However, the possibility remains under discussion with the club’s coaching staff.
“As for the possibility of another signing, we are still waiting. At the right time, based on the team’s needs, the coach will make a recommendation to the management,” Kuswara added.
Discussions are currently pointing towards Persib bringing in another new player. However, any decision will require further consideration, with the club assessing several factors before making its move.
“But God willing, whoever is recommended will indeed fit the team’s needs,” Kuswara concluded.
