Persib Bandung assistant coach Igor Tolic admitted that his team is in total concentration as they prepare to face Garudayaksa FC in the week 7 continuation of the 2026/27 BRI Super League. The match will take place at Pakansari Stadium on Sunday night, October 25, 2026.

Igor Tolic explained that this stance was taken by Persib after Garudayaksa FC suffered a crushing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Bali United. He predicts that this humiliating loss will drive Milos Joksic’s squad to be even more motivated to bounce back in their upcoming match against Persib.

“They are playing at home, but they lost their last match 5-0, so they will go all out in the next game,” opened the Croatian coach.

Additionally, Garudayaksa FC’s status as the home team will provide its own advantage. Therefore, he believes the clash against last season’s League 2 champions will be fiercely contested, as Garudayaksa FC aims to close out the match with all three points.

“So of course I expect it to be a tough match, a fighting team, but whenever Persib plays away, it is always like a war, so we expect a tough match tomorrow,” he added.

When asked about his team’s preparations for the match, Igor Tolic admitted that the squad did not have much time to prepare. Persib was only able to hold a single afternoon training session before heading to Bogor.

Despite this, he is not at all worried about Persib’s minimal preparation. This is because his players already understand the situation the team is facing and are trying their best to use the remaining time to optimize their strategy.

“There is a short training session this afternoon, a bit of tactics, some analysis of the last match, and then some preparation for the next game. So we will have dinner now and then travel to Bogor,” he concluded.
